About This Site

What Is masterofhealthadministration.org?

An independent guide to Master of Health Administration (MHA) and healthcare administration master's programs in the United States. It lists 452 programs at 312 schools, each checked on the school's own website, so you can compare format, accreditation, admissions and cost in one place.

What the Site Covers

Every program listing shows the facts a graduate applicant weighs: whether it's online, hybrid or on campus; its credits and length; its GRE and GMAT policy in the school's words; the work experience it expects; any administrative residency or internship; published tuition with its basis and year; and whether it is covered by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) list (143 programs are). The site covers the MHA and its equivalents (MHSA, MSHA), MS and MA degrees in healthcare administration or management, healthcare MBAs, and health MPA and MPH degrees that schools present as their administration track.

How Programs Are Verified

The list of schools comes from CAHME's accredited-program list and federal IPEDS data on health administration master's degrees. A program appears only after its current page was reviewed on the school's own website. Accreditation comes from the CAHME list itself, not from school claims. The methodology explains each step.

Independence and Advertising

Some pages carry clearly labeled sponsored listings from schools that advertise. Those listings are separate from the program research and never change which programs appear, their order or what is said about them. The advertising disclosure explains how the site is funded.

Corrections

Programs change. If a listing is out of date, send the page and a link to the school's page, and it will be reviewed.

He isn't a healthcare administrator, so every page is built from primary sources instead of opinion: each school's own program pages, the CAHME accredited-program list, federal IPEDS data, BLS pay data and the pages of credential bodies such as ACHE and NAB, with the source cited on the page. Every program on this site was checked against the school's own website. Accreditation comes only from the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) list, and graduate counts from the U.S. Department of Education (IPEDS).
